Workshop conducted by Ajanta Public School to combat Dengue

The seriousness of dengue is usually underestimated, but every year a huge number of individuals are killed, and millions influenced by the disease.
Taking the issue of expanding number of dengue cases in the city seriously, Ajanta Public School is formulating different approaches to make awareness among kids and parents to practice safety.
Subsequently, to create awareness and prevent dengue, Ajanta Public school organized a workshop for this.

A group of expert doctors visited the school on fourth August'16 with a thought process to make the students aware about the dengue in brief. The team involved four prominent specialists Dr. Sushila Kataria (Head of Internal Medicine Dept), Dr. Shubhank Singh (Physician), Dr. Tanya Intern from Zimbabwe and Dr. Pandey (specialist Physician).
Amid the workshop the significance of keeping clean surroundings to prevent disease like dengue from spreading was highlighted. Students were given info and learning on basic things that should be possible with promptly available materials at home to guarantee that the ambiance is clean and free of breeding sites. The awareness developing sessions were orchestrated followed by messages being spread all through the school. The students were encouraged to follow what they had realized out into the groups.
They clarified the 6 stages for hand-washing along with the obliged ventures to maintain cleanliness in and around us. A quiz was then led by a doctor from Zimbabwe where all students participated with great zeal. The correct responses of the students were perceived by gifts with appreciations and blessings.
